Generally speaking, the waterproof level of outdoor lighting generally needs to achieve the IP65 strong water spray test level to the IP68 waterproof level of pressurized diving, because the outdoor weather is unpredictable, light rain, heavy rain, heavy rain, or even submergence is possible from time to time. If the waterproof measures of the lamp are not in place, it will cause damage and the application effect will be very poor. It should have been such a wonderful view, but it will become the situation on the right.
Ultraviolet rays have a destructive effect on the wire insulation layer, shell protective coating, plastic parts, potting glue, sealing rubber strips, and adhesives that are exposed to the holiday decoration lamps.

After the wire insulation layer is aged and cracked, water vapor will penetrate into the lamp through the gaps in the wire core. After the shell coating of holiday decoration lamps ages, the coating on the edge of the shell will be cracked or peeled off, and there will be gaps. After the plastic casing is aging, it will deform and crack. The aging of electronic potting gel will cause cracking. The sealing rubber strip is aging and deformed, and there will be gaps. The adhesive glue between the structural parts is aging, and there will be gaps after reducing the adhesive force. These are the damage of ultraviolet rays to the waterproof ability of holiday decoration lamps.
The outdoor temperature changes greatly every day. In summer, the surface temperature of the lamps can rise to 50~60℃ during the day and drop to 10~20 qC at night. In winter, the temperature can drop to below zero on icy and snowy days, and the temperature difference varies greatly throughout the year. In the high temperature environment of summer, the materials of holiday decoration lamps accelerate the aging and deformation. When the temperature drops below zero, the plastic parts become brittle, or crack under the pressure of ice and snow.
